   In a typical Points Rummy game, a standard deck of cards spanning 52 cards, including cards of Joker is used. Borrowing from the standard deck, each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards constitute a draw pile. On top of it, there should be an upcard that, in turn, constitutes the beginnings of the discard pile. In a unique way, one among the cards is declared as the wild Joker card, and this card can replace any of the cards.

3. Game Play

   Players have to draw cards from the file and discard a card from their hand in turns. The objective here is to make valid combinations with their cards as fast as they can.

4. Winning the Game

  Suppose four players are playing a Re. 1 per point game. Player 1 wins and the other players have 20, 10, and 40 points. The winnings are calculated like this:

  Winnings = 1 x (20 + 10 + 40) = ₹70.

  After deducting a platform fee, Player 1 gets the remaining amount.

• Losing Players Score Calculation

  The scores of the losing players are based on the sum of the points in their hands that are not arranged in sequences or sets. The maximum points for a player who has not formed a pure sequence is 80.

  Example:

  If Player 2's hand has an unarranged sequence leading to 20 points and Player 3's hand has 10 points, they each score their respective points for that round.

• Maximum Points Available

  If a player does not have a valid arrangement or sequence, their score can reach a maximum of 80 points, which is the upper limit of points a player can lose in a single round.

  Example:

  If Player 4 has no sequence and holds high-value cards like the king and queen, their score could max out at 80 points.
